NBEMS i.e. National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences has released the final date of NEET PG 2025 exam. The board has issued official notifications. According to this notice, the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) PG will be held on 15 June 2025. The exam will be in two shifts in computer based test (CBT) mode.
The notice further stated that the information bulletin for NEET PG 2025 will be released at the right time on the official website natural website Natboard.edu.in.
Earlier in December last year, NBMS announced the completion of the internship to join NEET PG. This date is 31 July 2025.
Examination for 52,000 seats
Every year about two lakh MBBS graduates give NEET PG for about 52,000 post graduation seats across the country.
For the first time last year, NEET PG General was held in two shifts instead of a shift format. This took place on August 11 – the first shift was from 9 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift was from 3:30 pm to 7 pm.
Regarding the examination of two shifts, the board said that two different shifts were made to ensure that all the candidates were equal. There was no discrimination of any kind in it.
NEET UG 2025 exam on 4 May
According to the NEET UG 2025 exam calendar, this exam will be held on May 4 from 2 pm to 5 pm. Its registrations started from 7 February.
NEET UG 2025 Registration Fee
- General category: Rs 1,700
- EWS/OBC/NCL: Rs 1,600
- SC/ST/PWBD/Third Gender: Rs 1,000
The fee for those choosing exam center outside India is Rs 9,500.
APAAR ID is no longer necessary for registration
The National Testing Agency released a new guideline for NEET UG on 26 January. It said that APAAR ID for the exam is not compulsory.
NTA had earlier issued a notice on 14 January 2025 to update its Aadhaar card and link its AAPAR ID which was known as Academic Bank of Credits (ABC ID).
