Jack Draper defeated defending champion Carlos Alkaraj 6–1, 0-6, 6-4 in the semi-finals.
British tennis player Jack Draper has made it to the finals of the Indian Wells ATP Masters 1000. He defeated defending champion Carlos Alkaraja in three sets in the semi -finals played on Sunday. Now Draper will face Holgar Roon in the final.
World number 14 Draper defeated World No-3 Alkaraj 6–1, 0-6, 6-4 in the 44-minute match. With this, he broke the rhythm of Alkaraj’s 16-Match victory and made it to his first ATP Masters 1000 finals.
It was incredible to defeat Carlos- Draper Draper said after the victory, it was incredible to defeat Carlos on this court. He is a great champion and was trying to win the third consecutive title here.
Roon defeated Medvedev Holgar Roon of Denmark defeated two -time runners -up Daniel Medvedev in another semi -final match to make it to the final for the fourth time ATP Masters 1000. He defeated Medvedev in straight set. Roon won 7-5, 6-4 against Medvedev. Medvedev’s eye was on reaching the final of Indian Wales for the third consecutive year. Earlier, he had to face defeat to Carlos Alkaraja both times.
I am very proud of myself- Roon Roon said, the work is not over yet, but it was a great match. Playing against Daniel is one of the most difficult challenges for me. I managed to defeat them for the first time, but we know each other well. Obviously I had the right strategy, but it was still very difficult. Therefore, I am very proud of myself.
