The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a schedule of Joint Entrance Test (JEE) Mains Session -2 2025. This exam will be held from 2 to 9 April. BE and BTech entrance exam will be in 9 shifts in 5 days in April-session.
Examination will be done in two shifts
This exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Paper 1: An examination of BE/BTech will be held on April 8, 2025 from 3 pm to 6 pm in the second shift.
Paper 2: A (BARC), Paper 2B (B Planning) and Paper 2A and 2B (B Arc and B Planning) will be held on 9 April 2025 from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
Candidates who have registered for the exam can see the entire details of the exam on the official website.
Jee Mains 2025: Exam Pattern
Jee Mains consists of two papers:
Paper 1: NITs, IIITs, CFTIS for admission in BE/B.Tech are for admission.
Paper 2: With two sub-categories for B.Arc and B.Planning syllabus:
- Paper 2A: B.Ac
- Paper 2B: B.Planing
Exam pattern
- Paper 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Paper 2A: Maths and eligibility in CBT mode; Drawing test (offline) on A4 sheet
- Paper 2B: Maths, Eligibility and Based Question Paper in CBT mode
Subject option
The exam is conducted in 13 language including regional language like English, Hindi, Tamil, Bengali and Urdu. Candidates have to select the subject language during registration.
City slip will be released soon
NTA opened JEE’s correction window on 27-28 February. JEE Mains Session-2 City Slip can be released in the second week of March 2025 and the admit cards can be released 3 days before the exam.
