Former Australian wicketkeeper batsman Matthew Wade will return to the IPL as an assistant coach. Wade joined the coaching staff of Gujarat Titans for IPL 2025. Wade gave this information on Sunday. They are going to join IPL after 3 years. Matthew Wade was also a part of the Gujarat team to become IPL champions in 2022 as a player.

Matthew Wade played 12 IPL matches in 2022 and 2024 for Gujarat Titans. In which he scored a total of 161 runs. Wade retired from international cricket on 2024 October. Soon after, he became a part of Australia’s coaching staff with Andre Borowek for the T20 series against Pakistan.
