The Indian team has started practice before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The team sweated fiercely at the ICC Academy in Dubai on Sunday. The team’s first match in the tournament will be played against Bangladesh on 20 February.

BCCI has shared videos and photos of the team’s practice. According to the PTI report, wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant got the ball of Hardik Pandya during practice.

Hardik’s ball hit Pant’s knee Pant suffered a knee injury during the practice session. On a shot of Hardik, the ball hit Pant’s left knee. He groaned with pain, but Physio Kamlesh Jain immediately treated him. After this, Hardik came out of the nets and came to know his condition. Pant was initially in pain and was seen walking lame. However, the injury was not serious and after treating Physio, Pant immediately came into the nets to bat wearing a pad.

India’s first match with Bangladesh on 20 February The Indian team will play their first match against Bangladesh in the Champions Trophy. The match will be played at Dubai International Stadium on 20 February. The second match of the team will be with Pakistan on 23 February and the third match will be with New Zealand on 2 March.

India is placed in Group-A with Pakistan, Bangladesh and New Zealand. The 2 semi -finals of the tournament will be held on March 4 and 5. At the same time, the final will be played on 9 March.
