The team of Manchester Originals has not been able to win any title of The Hundred League so far.
The RPSG Group, who owned the IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants, has bought 70% stake of Manchester Originals, The Hundred team from the Lancasher Cricket Club in England. Lancashere is a company with the manchester originals’ owner.
The RPSG Group made an official announcement of the deal on Friday. According to this, England’s Lancasher Cricket Club will have a 30% stake of the team. Group chairman Sanjeev Goenka said- ‘We respect Lancashire’s legsi. We are committed to forming a special relationship with Players, Support Team and Community. We trust in excellence. We see the immense possibility of quality cricket for generations to come.
Sanjeev Goenka is the owner of the IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants.
1252 crore bid was 11 days ago The RPSG Group bid for the franchise of the English League the Hundred on 4 February 11 days ago. The media report then claimed that the Indian group had made the highest bid of about Rs 1252 crore to get a 49 percent stake in the English franchise.
