Venkataraman died in Chennai at the age of 102 due to prolonged illness.

2. Death of Agha Khan, a religious leader of Ismaili Muslims: The religious and spiritual leader of Ismaili Muslims and billionaire Aga Khan died on 4 February.
The Aga Khan Foundation said on 4 February that the 49th hereditary Imam Aga Khan IV of Shia Ismaili Muslims died in Portugal.

3. Preparation to implement UCC in Gujarat too: After Uttarakhand, now in Gujarat too, Uniform Civil Code i.e. Uniform Civil Code (UCC) may be implemented soon.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel announced a 5 -member committee on 4 February to prepare the draft.
- Retired Justice of Supreme Court Ranjana Desai has been made the chairman of the committee.
- In addition, the committee will have 4 members.
- The committee will submit its report to the state government in 45 days, on the basis of which it will be decided to implement the UCC.
- The committee will also meet the Muslim community and other religious leaders to prepare the report.
- Uttarakhand has become the first state in the country after independence where UCC was implemented on 27 January.

4. Depart 104 Indians from America reached India: 205 Indians living illegally in the US have been deployed, out of which the US military aircraft has landed at Amritsar Airport with 104 people.
