The Australian Cricket Board on Friday informed about Mitchell Marsh’s Champions Trophy from 2025.
The Champions Trophy has been ruled out of 2025 due to Australian all -rounder Mitchell Marsh back injury. The Australia Cricket Board gave this information on Friday. The selection panel of the board will soon announce their replacement.
The 33 -year -old Marsh had complained of back discomfort during the recently ended Test series against India. His performance in that series was nothing special and the last match which was played in Sydney was dropped. In that match, Bu Webster got a chance to replace him.
The ICC had kept the last date for the announcement of all teams on 12 January. Although changes can be made in the squad by February 12, it is the deadline of the ICC. Before this, Australia will have to announce Marsh’s replacement.
