Odisha Police Recruitment Board has invited applications for the posts of Sub Inspector, Station Officer and Assistant Jailer. Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of Odisha Police, odishapolice.gov.in.

Ability :
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Must be able to speak, read and write Odia.
- ME School or higher examination pass with Odia subject or HSC or equivalent examination pass with Odia medium in non-language subjects or pass written examination in Odia in ME School standard conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha.
- Persons with disabilities are not eligible to apply for these posts. At the same time, women and transgender candidates can apply only for Sub-Inspector and Assistant Jailer posts.
Educational Qualification:
- Sub Inspector of Police, Sub Inspector of Police (Armed), Assistant Jailer: Bachelor Degree
- Station Officer (Fire Service): Science or Engineering Graduate.
Age Limit :
- Candidates age should be minimum 21 years and maximum 25 years as on January 1, 2024.
- Relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit will be given for SC, ST, SEBC and women candidates.
- Ex-servicemen will be given relaxation for the entire period of service.
- In a situation where a candidate is eligible for age relaxation under more than one category, the category which benefits him more will apply.

Salary:
Rs 35,400 per month
