Khel Ratna Awards 2024 List Update; Manu Bhaker Gukesh D | Harmanpreet Singh | President Draupadi Murmu will honor the players at Rashtrapati Bhavan: Program will start shortly; Khel Ratna to Manu Bhaker, Gukesh, Harmanpreet and Praveen

The distribution of National Sports Awards 2024 by the Sports Ministry will begin shortly at Rashtrapati Bhavan. President Draupadi Murmu will felicitate the winners. Olympic double medal winning shooter Manu Bhakar, world chess champion D Gukesh, hockey team captain Harmanpreet Singh and para athlete player Praveen Kumar will be honored with the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award.

Apart from these, 5 coaches will receive Dronacharya Award, out of which 2 are for life time achievement. Arjuna Award will be given to 34 players, out of which 17 are para-athletes, while 2 are for life time achievement. The award ceremony will be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on January 17.
