New Zealand cricket team has announced its 15-member squad for ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Spin all-rounder Mitchell Santner will captain the New Zealand team in the Champions Trophy. Former captain and veteran batsman Kane Williamson has also got a place in the team.

Williamson has returned to the ODI team after 14 months. He played his last ODI match for his country in the semi-final of ODI World Cup-2023 which was held in November.

ICC Champions Trophy will start from 19th February. New Zealand will play its first match against Pakistan on 19 February. The tournament will start with this match.

New Zealand team will field with an excellent bowling unit Bowlers like Matt Henry, Lockie Ferguson, Nathan Smith, Ben Sears and William O’Rourke have been included in the New Zealand cricket team for the Champions Trophy. Ben Sears, who was a reserve player during the T20 World Cup 2024 last year, is returning to international cricket after a knee injury.
