The Indian team has barely escaped from playing follow-on in the Brisbane Test. When Akash Deep saved the follow-on score by hitting a four off Pat Cummins, there was celebration in the dressing room of Team India. Captain Cummins brought the 75th over of the Indian innings. Before this over, India needed only 4 runs to save the follow-on. On the very second ball of Cummins, Akash Deep played a cut shot and hit a four towards the gully. After this four, the joy of Indian coaches Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli present in the dressing room knew no bounds. Both of them did hi-fi celebration by clapping each other. After this Kohli also clapped Rohit.

On the fourth ball of the 75th over, Akash Deep hit Cummins for a six over midwicket. On a full length ball, Akash hit a six on the second floor of the stadium. Seeing this six, Kohli present at the pavilion stood up from his seat and came towards the window. His reaction here was shocking.
Akashdeep is unbeaten on 27 runs till the stumps of the fourth day. He along with Bumrah (10*) has added 39 unbeaten runs on 54 balls for the last wicket. On returning to the pavilion, the entire team gave a standing ovation to both of them.

2. Life to Rahul on the first ball of the day
When KL Rahul missed the catch, he was batting on 33 runs.
KL Rahul got life on the first ball of the fourth day. Pat Cummins’s good length ball got extra bounce and Rahul was out. The ball took the outer edge of the bat and went to Smith standing at second slip. However, Smith was not ready and the catch was dropped. Earlier, Josh Hazlewood got injured during practice. They have not entered the day game.
Rahul was the top scorer for India in the first innings, he scored 84 runs.
