Indian Grandmaster D Gukesh has won the World Chess Championship title. He has become the youngest player in the world to do so. His age is only 18 years. They defeated defending champion Ding Liren of China 1-0 in the 14th game. Now the score is 7.5-6.5. On Wednesday, in the 13th game of the World Chess Championship, Gukesh had to play a draw after 68 moves.

Gukesh won the 11th game, Liren made a comeback in the 12th. Till Sunday, Gukesh was leading 6-5 after 11 games. Out of 11 games, 8 were drawn, while Gukesh won 2 and Liren won 1. But Liren came back and won the 12th game and leveled the score again. To become champion the player must reach 7.5 points.
