The final of the World Chess Championship is being played between D Gukesh of India and Ding Liren of China in Singapore.
Indian Grandmaster D Gukesh and defending champion Ding Liren of China have played a draw in the 13th game. Now the score of both is 6.5-6.5. On Wednesday, in the 13th game of the World Chess Championship, Gukesh had to play a draw after 68 moves.

In the game, 18-year-old Gukesh attempted the ‘King Pawn’ move in his opening move and again faced Liren’s favorite ‘French Defence’. As the match progressed, it became clear that this match would remain a draw.
Gukesh won the 11th game, Liren made a comeback in the 12th. Till Sunday, Gukesh was leading 6-5 after 11 games. Out of 11 games, 8 were drawn, while Gukesh won 2 and Liren won 1. But Liren came back and won the 12th game and leveled the score again. To become champion the player must reach 7.5 points.

Gukesh will become the youngest world champion If Indian star Gukesh wins this final, he will become the youngest world chess champion. Gukesh is currently 18 years old. Earlier, Gukesh had won the FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament at the age of 17. Even then he became the youngest player to win it.
If Gukesh wins the World Chess Championship, he will become the youngest world champion.
