A Delhi based startup company conducted a survey in its office. Asked employees if they were stressed at work. The company said that this survey will be completely anonymous i.e. your identity will not be revealed. After this, many employees openly told how they remain stressed due to work.
Some employees felt that their company would now do something to manage the stress of the employees. But no one had imagined what the company did.
The company fired all those employees who admitted to being stressed at the workplace. The company sent an email to everyone informing them that to relieve the stress of the employees, they were being laid off.
The name of this company is Yes Madam. This is an app based startup, through which parlor service is provided at home.
The company sent this mail to the employees after the survey.
People’s criticism on social media
The company is being criticized a lot on social media for this step. One user wrote, ‘At first I thought it was a joke but alas I was wrong. A company actually fired employees simply because they were stressed. After that the company is gaslighting them that this step is for their benefit, wow.
Another user wrote, ‘This happens in many companies. They conduct such surveys to identify unhappy employees and then fire them. Calling it a corporate cobra, one user wrote – ‘Extremely poisonous people.’
Magicpin offers jobs to laid off employees
Yes Madam, amidst the controversy, Magicpin has released vacancies in all departments. Magicpin also made a post for this.

As the controversy escalated, Yes Madam said that no one has been fired from the job but the employees have been given a break to be stress-free. The company tried to project this entire incident as a PR strategy.
