India won the Asia Cup 2023 title by defeating Sri Lanka.
Even after the India-Pakistan match tickets, single ticket formats were implemented, the biggest matches of the Asia Cup are not being sold. This high-voltage match between India and Pakistan is to be played on 14 September. There are now only three days left in the match, but tickets for upper and top-tier stands are still available.
Earlier, the organizers were selling India-Pakistan match tickets as packages. That is, fans had to buy tickets for a total of seven matches together to watch this match. However, in view of the low sales of tickets, the organizers changed it and started a single ticket format so that fans would facilitate. But despite this, there has been no significant increase in ticket sales.
A official of Emirates Cricket told ANI that, ‘We are surprised by ourselves why ticket sales for India-Pakistan match are so slow. So far, the lower stands seats are sold, while tickets are available on the upper and top tier stands. The sale of tickets for this match in the Champions Trophy was so fast that we opened the ticket window twice (2 pm and 4 pm) and all the tickets were sold in less than 4 minutes. But this time enthusiasm has faded. Perhaps the reason for this is the absence of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

Claims in the report:
Non -existence of star players: It is being claimed in several reports that the adventure of the match has reduced due to Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli’s absence. Both players retired from this format after winning the T20 World Cup against South Africa last year.
Lack of star power in Pakistan’s team too: According to some reports, big players like Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are not included in the team from Pakistan, which has reduced the star attraction from both sides.
Impact of boycott campaign on social media: After the Pahalgam terror attack in April 2025, political tension between India and Pakistan has increased, affecting the enthusiasm of Indian fans. Many fans on social media are demanding Boycott and saying that India should withdraw from this tournament.
Ticket price increased The package on ticketing portals has been kept for about 2.57 lakh rupees for two seats, including seating, unlimited food, parking pass, VIP club/lounge, private entrance and rest room.
Similar Royal Box 2.30 Lakh, Sky Box East 1.67 Lakh, Platinum 75 thousand, Grand Lounge 41 thousand, Pavilion West 28 thousand and cheapest General East is also for about 10 thousand rupees. For this reason, fans are getting expensive to take tickets.
Expected to fight Indo-Pak thrice in Asia Cup Indo-Pak is in the same group in the Asia Cup. The two group league matches of the two are expected to confront the tournament twice in the tournament. If India and Pakistan made it to the Super-4 stage, then both teams will again face face to face on September 21. The final of the tournament will be played on 28 September. If India and Pakistan topped the Super-4 stage, there may also be a third match between the two in the tournament.
