Institute of Banking Personnel Selection i.e. IBPS has released the results of Special Officer (SO) Prelims Exam 2024. The result for the candidates who appeared for the exam is available on the official website ibps.in. Results can be downloaded till December 10, 2024. This exam was held on 9 November.
IBPS SO Mains 2024 exam will be held on 14th December. Candidates who have passed Prelims will appear in this exam.
How to see IBPS SO Prelims Result

- On the home page, click on the link labeled “Prelims Exam Result for CRP-SPL-SIV”.
- Enter your login information and click Submit.
IBPS will fill 896 vacancies of Special Officer through this, and 11 banks will be its participating banks. For more information you can see the official website.
Special Officer cut off is different from PO
IBPS SO cut-off is decided by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) and it varies depending on categories like General, OBC, SC, ST and PWD. The cut-off marks are influenced by the exam level and result of the candidates.
Selection of candidates for IBPS Special Officer (SO) is done at two levels. In this the exam is taken in online mode. There is prelims and mains exam and after that interview is conducted.
Special Officer (SO) Mains Pattern is also different
IBPS Special Officer (SO) is different from the mains exam pattern. The exam consists of Professional Knowledge (PK) which tests the knowledge of candidates in their particular field consisting of 60 questions of 60 marks which have to be completed within 45 minutes.
