The 12th season of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) will start from August 29. Earlier, Gujarat giants captain Mohammadreja Shadlu and Bengal Warriors coach Naveen Kumar spoke to the media on PKL Pre-Seas Media Day organized by Giostar.
Shadlu said, this season is different for me because I am the captain of the team this time. Our team is ready and our players are motive and they want to win this title. And I hope we will win this title.
This Iranian player further said, I have learned a lot from the players here. I have found new friends in this country. Shadlu was bought by Gujarat giants for Rs 2.23 crore in the auction for the 12th season.

Naveen said, we have bought Devank Dalal at a higher price and he will be important players for our team. Devank, who was the best raider of season-11, was bought by Bengal for Rs 2.205 crore for this season.
He further said, the support of home ground and fans on the game has a great impact. The more support a player and the team get, the more inspired they are. A player can perform his best only when his fans are with him, encourage him and inspire him.
Patna won the maximum 3 titles The Pro-Kabaddi League began in July 2014. The Jaipur Pink Penthors team won the first season title under the captaincy of Navneet Gautam. In the second season, U Mumba became the champion, captained by Anoop Kumar.
In the third season, Patna Pirates raised the title and the team won 3 consecutive finals and scored a title hat -trick. Jaipur Pink Panthers has become champion 2 times. Apart from these, Bengal Warriors, Bangalore Bulls, Dabang Delhi, Haryana Steelers and Punei Paltan have also won the title 1-1 times.
