The International Cricket Council (ICC) updated the players ranking on Wednesday (20 August), but made a big blunder. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli’s names were missing in the ODI rankings. Both Indian batsmen were involved in Top-5 in the ranking released on August 13 last week. However, the ICC rectified the mistake and updated the ranking only four hours later. Now the ICC has clarified in this matter.
Council told Wisden, there have been many problems in this week’s ranking, which are being investigated. However, shortly after, technical disturbances were fixed and the ranking was re -updated.
