Mumbai’s Ayra Jadhav played a record-breaking inning of 346 runs in Under-19 Women’s ODI. She became the first Indian player in the men’s and women’s divisions to score a triple century in Under-19 cricket. The record for the highest score in Women’s Under-19 ODI is in the name of South Africa’s Lizelle Lee, who scored 427 runs in 2010.
On the basis of Ayra’s innings, Mumbai scored 563 runs for 3 wickets against Meghalaya on Sunday at Alur Cricket Ground. Meghalaya Women’s team could score only 19 runs in reply and Mumbai won the match by a record margin of 544 runs.
