1. Salman Khan becomes the brand ambassador of Kho-Kho Federation of India
Kho-Kho Federation of India (KKFI) on 18 December announced Indian actor Salman Khan as the brand ambassador of the first Kho-Kho World Cup 2025. This tournament is being organized from 13 to 19 January at Indira Gandhi Stadium in New Delhi. This was announced during an interaction with the media at the ‘National Player Training Camp’ organized at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. 21 men’s and 20 women’s teams from 24 countries will participate in the first Kho-Kho World Cup.
The first match of the Kho-Kho World Cup 2025 tournament will be played between India and Pakistan.
2. Gagan Gill received Sahitya Akademi Award 2024
Sahitya Akademi announced the Sahitya Akademi Awards 2024 in a press conference on 18 December. This year writers from 21 languages will be honored. Gagan Gill will receive the award for Hindi and Easterin Kire will receive the award for English. Awards in Bengali, Dogri and Urdu will be announced later. The awards for 21 languages were announced at the executive board meeting held under the chairmanship of Sahitya Akademi President Madhav Kaushik. Every year the Academy honors writers in 24 languages with the Sahitya Akademi Award.

1. Indian Air Force has announced recruitment for Agniveer Vayu.
Agneepath Air Agniveer released notification for Air Force Agniveer. Its registration will start from 7 January 2025. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website agnipathvayu.cdac.in.
Educational Qualification:
- Intermediate (12th) with minimum 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and English.
- OR 3 year Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/IT with at least 50% marks
- OR 2 years vocational course with Physics and Mathematics from any recognized board with at least 50% marks in aggregate and English with at least 50% marks.

- 17.5-21 years
- Must be born between 1 January 2005 to 1 January 2008.
- Age relaxation will be given as per the rules of Indian Air Force Agniveer Air Intake 1/2026.

2. UPPSC has announced recruitment for 604 posts of Assistant Engineer.
Uttar Pradesh Public Commission (UPPSC) released the notification for the recruitment of Assistant Engineer. Its registrations have started from December 17 and the last date for correction will be January 24, 2025. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website.
Educational Qualification:
- The candidate should have a degree in Civil Engineering.
- Must have passed Sections ‘A’ and ‘B’ of the Institution of Engineers in Civil Engineering.
Age Limit:
- Age should be between 21- 40 years.
- Age will be counted from July 1, 2024.
- Age relaxation will be given as per government rules.
Fees:
- General/OBC/EWS: Rs 100
- SC/ST/PH: Rs 40
Salary:
Candidates will be given salary of Rs 15600-39100 as per pay level-10.

1. CBSE released notification on Exam Pe Charcha 2025, PM will tell students how to handle stress
CBSE has released the notification for discussion on examination 2025. The Board of Undergraduate Medical Education of NMC has released the syllabus of NEET UG 2025. However, it has not been decided yet whether the NEET UG 2025 exam will be held in pen-paper mode or online. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that talks are being held with the Health Ministry regarding the NEET exam. Two rounds of talks have also taken place with the Health Ministry. NTA is ready for whatever decision will be taken regarding the exam mode.
