- 12 Lakh Candidates of NEET UG are Waiting for Counseling 75 Students to Attempt Rexam

The NEET UG exam is to be re -conducted for 75 students of Indore city of MP. The Indore High Court has directed NTA on 30 June that the examination should be conducted early for these candidates and the result should be released soon.
In such a situation, the wait for the results of more than 12 lakh candidates who have been qualified examination can now increase. NEET Admission Counselor Riya Sharma says that this may take time to start counseling process.
Merit list can change
Revised results will also be released after the examination of 75 students is re -examined. Let us know that some students have scored more than 600 in the examination from the same center from the examinations of the exam center of Indore. It is possible that after the release of the result of these 75 students, the merit list will also change.
Last year too, merit list was changed due to reigns
In the year 2024, 67 students got 720 out of 720 when the result of NEET UG was released. However, reigns for 1563 candidates were performed, after which there were only 17 toppers left in the revised result.
Waiting for counseling dates continues
MCC has not yet released counseling dates. MCC will get counseling for 15% seats of AIQ, while the remaining 85% seats will be filled with state counseling.
Electricity was cut on the exam centers of Indore, Ujjain
In fact, during the examination on May 4, many exam centers in Indore and Ujjain had lost power. The students had told the court that the examination was affected by the power failure. The students whose examination is being re -conducted, had filed a petition before June 3.
The judge had shut down the power of the court room, then saw the exam paper
This examination will be conducted only for 75 students who filed a petition before June 3. During the last hearing, the High Court judge had read the examination paper by shutting down the court room power. The judge did this so that the real situation could be estimated in which the students had to take the exam.
In the order given today, the court said, “Despite the fault of the students who appeared in the examination, they were put in an uncomfortable position due to power cuts.”
For the first time government schools were made centers
This was the first time for NTA when government schools were made the exam center of NEET UG where there was no power backup. In fact, this year, government schools were made centers after a dispute over NEET UG exam in 2024 last year. Earlier, private schools and computer labs were made exam centers.
