In the ongoing 10th Asian Beach Handball Championships in Muscat, the Indian Mains team tied a black patti in the match against the Pakistan team. However, after the intervention of the Asian Handball Federation, the Indian team removed the board.

In fact, in view of the increasing tension between Indo-Pak, on Friday, the Indian beach handball team decided to boycott Pakistan in the match against Pakistan and tied a black patti. The Handball Association of India sought guidelines from the Sports Ministry and the Olympic Association Indian men and women teams reached Muscat for the tournament on 5 May. Seeing the increased tension with Pakistan, the Indian Handball Association had sent emails to the Sports Ministry and the Indian Olympic Association for the match against Pakistan and sought guidelines. After not getting the reply, the team management themselves decided to get a black lease and decided to get down.
